The MICJ series merges two functions in one ISO 6432 round-body mini cylinder (bores 16-25): an on-site adjustable extend stroke and adjustable air cushions at both ends. Bores 32 and 40 are non-ISO round-body sizes. The bore range spans 16 to 40 mm across 5 sizes, with push force at 0.5 MPa ranging from about 100 N up to 628 N. Maximum theoretical force at 1.0 MPa spans about 20 kgf to 128 kgf.
Shared design features include a stainless-steel riveted barrel and rod, double-acting operation, and ports sized 1/8 inch for bores 16-25 and 1/4 inch for bores 32-40 (PT or G threads). An external screw and stop nut shortens the extend end position within a per-model window, while a cushion needle absorbs shock at high speeds. The cushion decelerates the piston only; it does not lock or hold position.
Within the AirTAC mini cylinder family, the MICJ sits above the base MI, the cushion-only MIC, and the adjustable-stroke-only MIJ. Choose MICJ when an application requires both high-speed deceleration and field-adjustable stroke length. A magnet option (-S) supports CMSG, DMSG, and EMSG sensors.
