About the AirTAC MCK80
The AirTAC MCK80 is a double-acting welding clamp cylinder with a Ø80 mm bore and a double-clevis mount, built to drive toggle clamps on car-body and other welding fixtures. A stainless steel scraper ring at the front cover keeps dust and weld spatter out of the seal.
Air cushions and speed controls are built into both covers, so the stroke ends and the speed can be adjusted on the cylinder itself without separate flow controls. Each cover has three air inlets to choose from, which makes piping easy in a crowded fixture. It works from 0.15 to 1.0 MPa at 50 to 500 mm/s and needs no lubrication.

Choosing the Right MCK80 Configuration
Then the stroke: the standard strokes are 50, 75, 100, 125 and 150 mm; 25, 60, 90, 92, 120, 140 mm are special strokes, within the 150 mm maximum.
The version: S adds a magnet for sensors (CMSG, DMSG or EMSG, on the F-MCK40G bracket ordered separately; in strong welding fields use interference-resistant sensors). Y adds the Y joint with M6 holes, YW the Y joint without them.
AirTAC MCK80 FAQ
At 0.5 MPa the theoretical push force is 2513 N and the pull force 2268 N (rod Ø25 mm). The force at the clamp arm depends on your linkage.
The opening of the double-clevis mount: 16.5 mm on the MCKA, 19.7 mm on the MCKB in the catalog drawing. Ø80 comes in one size, coded MCK80.
Choose the S version with a magnet. CMSG, DMSG or EMSG sensors mount on the F-MCK40G bracket, ordered separately; tighten the bracket screw to 1.2-1.3 N·m.
0.15-1.0 MPa, proof pressure 1.5 MPa, -20 to +70 °C, piston speed 50-500 mm/s, on air filtered to 40 µm. No lubrication is needed.
