About the AirTAC TACQ16
The AirTAC TACQ16 is a double-acting compact (ultra-thin) cylinder with a 16 mm bore and an 8 mm piston rod. At 0.5 MPa it pushes 101 N and pulls 75 N; at 0.7 MPa that rises to 141 N push and 106 N pull. Force depends on bore and pressure only, so every stroke on this page gives the same output. Two guide rods hold the end plate against rotation: AirTAC rates the non-rotation accuracy at ±0.2°, the angle the plate can turn with the cylinder fully retracted. The double guide rods resist bending and torsion, so the cylinder takes larger moving and side loads; they are stainless steel running in brass bushings.
All TACQ16 versions share M5 air ports and rubber bumpers at both ends. The cylinder runs on filtered air between 0.15 and 1.0 MPa (proof 1.5 MPa), from -20 to +70 °C, at 30 to 500 mm/s. This page lists 12 stock order codes with strokes from 5 to 30 mm; catalog standard strokes run up to 30 mm.
