About the AirTAC AQK
The AirTAC AQK50 is a Ø50 mm double-acting dowel pin cylinder that both locates and clamps: the guide pin enters the hole in the workpiece and locates it by its outside diameter, then a clamp arm built into the pin swings out and pulls the part down over a 10 mm clamp stroke.
The pin is titanium-coated for wear resistance and the cylinder has a metal scraper at the front cover against dust and weld spatter. The body has locating-pin and mounting holes on all four sides, sensor grooves all round, and it follows JIS standards.

Choosing the Right AQK Configuration
Choose the mounting: body size A uses M10×1.5 screws, B M12×1.75, both with Ø10 locating pin holes; the layout letter (A to D) sets which faces carry the mounting screws and locating pins.
Then the clamp arm position, measured from the air port side: A 0°, B 90°, C 180°, D 270°.
Finally the guide pin, by the hole in your workpiece: Ø14.x pins suit Ø15 holes, Ø15.x Ø16, Ø17.x Ø18, Ø19.x Ø20 and Ø24.x Ø25. The last digit (1-9) fine-tunes the diameter. With shims (code 2: two 0.5 mm and one 1 mm) the pin stands 2 mm taller and the clamp height adjusts from 10 to 12 mm.
