About the AirTAC MD16
The AirTAC MD16 is a double-acting multi-mount cylinder with a 16 mm bore. At 0.5 MPa it pushes 100.5 N and pulls 86.4 N; at 0.7 MPa, 140.7 N push and 121 N pull. Force depends on bore and pressure only, so every stroke on this page gives the same output.
The compact square body can be fixed from several faces and several cylinders can be mounted side by side. The rod guide needs no added lubrication. All MD16 versions use M5×0.8 air ports and run on filtered air at 0.15 to 1.0 MPa (proof 1.5 MPa), from -20 to +70 °C, at 30 to 500 mm/s.
