The 45 mm stroke sits inside the 50 mm table for double-acting 16 mm bores, but keep strokes short of the limit - the compact cover is not made for over-long travel. The S means this version includes a magnet so magnetic switches can report end positions. Order MD16X45S if you need position feedback; choose MD16X45 if no sensing is required. Both are otherwise the same 16 mm double-acting, 45 mm stroke unit.
How far can the stroke go on a 16 mm double-acting multi-mount body?
Double-acting 16 mm strokes run up to 50 mm in the stroke table, so 45 mm is near the top. The short cover means an over-long stroke should be avoided; also note the cushion is a bumper. For exact dimensions at a given stroke, confirm from the datasheet.
