About the AirTAC GF600
The AirTAC GF600 is a G-series compressed-air filter. It separates condensed water and filters out particles through a 40 or 5 µm element, with a aluminium alloy bowl and 3/4"-1" ports (PT as standard, G also stocked). A filter only cleans the air; it does not set downstream pressure. Pair it with a GR regulator, or use a GFR filter regulator when pressure control is needed.
The maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi). Automatic and differential-pressure drain versions work from 0.15 to 1.0 MPa (22-145 psi); the manual-drain version works from 0 to 0.9 MPa (0-131 psi). Operating temperature is -5 to +70 °C with no freezing. Pressure loss through the element is low.

Where the GF600 Is Used
Machine air inlet
Fit the GF600 where compressed air enters a machine to stop water and dirt reaching valves and cylinders.
Condensate removal
The bowl collects condensed water from the compressor line; the drain type decides how it is emptied.
Before regulators and precision parts
Install ahead of a GR regulator or sensitive valves; use the 5 µm element where cleaner air is needed.
Choosing the Right GF600 Configuration
Start with the port size. Match the GF600 port to the pipe or fitting it connects to: 3/4" (20), 1" (25).
Then choose the drain. Automatic drain (A) empties the bowl on its own, which suits lines with a lot of condensate or machines that run unattended. Manual drain (M) is opened by hand; it also works at low line pressure, from 0 MPa. The standard differential-pressure drain releases water when line pressure drops, for example at shutdown.
Finally the configuration. The 40 µm element is standard for general machine air; choose 5 µm (W) in front of precision valves and instruments. A mounting bracket is included unless the code carries J. G (BSPP) threads are available with the G code.

No. The GF600 only filters water and particles. Use a GR regulator after it, or a GFR filter regulator that combines both.
