The AirTAC AirTAC GF600-25 Filter (GF60025MJ) is a genuine G-series air filter. It separates condensed water and filters particulate from the compressed-air line through a 40 µm element, with PT1" ports and a manual drain. A filter does not set downstream pressure — pair it with a GR regulator, or use a GFR filter regulator, when pressure control is needed.
The GF60025MJ is an AirTAC GF-series air filter: its only job is to remove water and particulate from compressed air. It carries no regulator and no lubricator. This configuration is the largest G-series size, 600, with a 1 in. PT thread, the standard 40 um filtration element and a manual drain you operate by hand. As a manual-drain filter its maximum inlet pressure is 0.9 MPa, and the 600-size bowl is aluminium alloy. The J suffix means the mounting bracket is not supplied. Operating temperature is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.
This is a genuine AirTAC part, sold by an authorised distributor. The GF family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600, with differential-pressure, automatic or manual drains, 40 um standard or 5 um (W) elements, and PT, G (BSPP) or NPT thread options. Because published flow data appears only as curves rather than a single rated figure, we confirm the exact flow and datasheet figures for your application on request.
| Model | AirTAC GF600-25 Filter (GF60025MJ) |
|---|---|
| Series | GF600 air filter |
| Port size | PT1" (PT thread) |
| Filtering grade | 40 µm |
| Drain type | Manual drain |
| Bracket | Supplied without bracket |
| Fluid | Compressed air |
|---|---|
| Inlet pressure | 0 - 0.9 MPa (0 - 131 psi) |
| Max. working pressure | 1.0 MPa (145 psi) |
| Temperature range | -5 to +70 °C (unfreeze) |
| Bowl material | Aluminium alloy |
| Feature | Low pressure loss |
Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The inlet-pressure band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains run 0.15 - 1.0 MPa, a manual drain runs 0 - 0.9 MPa. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GF600 | G-series air filter, 600 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 25 | Port size PT1". This body offers 20 = PT3/4", 25 = PT1". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain. Options are differential (blank), automatic (A) or manual (M). |
| J | Supplied without bracket. A bracket ships by default; J orders it without. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
Field order is size, port, drain, bracket, grade, thread — a blank position takes the default. Example: GF300-10AJW is a 300 body, PT3/8", automatic drain, no bracket, 5 µm element, PT thread.
A larger body carries a larger port and passes more air at the same pressure drop. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom rather than from a single rated figure. The GF600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Placed ahead of the torch solenoids and pilot-air circuit, the 40 um element strips condensed water and pipe scale from shop air so the cutting controls keep switching cleanly through a shift.
On a stamping press with valve manifolds and air-operated clutches, the filter catches rust and moisture from an older header line before it reaches directional control valves.
Dusty foundry air feeding gate and door cylinders passes through the GF60025MJ first, keeping abrasive carryover out of cylinder seals on the moulding line.
Size 600 with a 1 in. PT port suits lines plumbed at 3/4 to 1 in.; if your demand is modest, stepping down to GF300 or GF400 can save space and cost. Manual drain means someone must open the drain periodically - if the filter sits in an unattended position, consider the automatic (A) or differential-pressure variant instead. The standard 40 um element suits general machine air; choose 5 um (W suffix) for finer protection. Thread is PT as standard; G (BSPP) and NPT are catalogue options. This J version has no bracket - add it in the GF60025M code if you want wall or panel fixing. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The aluminium-alloy bowl on the GF600 suits harsher environments than a PC bowl. A filter removes water and particulate only; it does not regulate pressure or add lubrication.
AirTAC publishes filter flow as performance curves rather than one rated number, so quoting a single figure would be misleading. Tell us your line pressure and expected demand and we will confirm the flow and full datasheet figures for this exact model on request.
A manual drain (M) means an operator opens the drain valve during checks, which suits attended installations and keeps the unit simple. If the filter is hard to reach or runs unattended, choose the automatic (A) or differential-pressure version instead - note manual-drain GF filters have a 0.9 MPa maximum inlet pressure.
