The AirTAC AirTAC GF600-20 Filter (GF60020AJW) is a genuine G-series air filter. It separates condensed water and filters particulate from the compressed-air line through a 5 µm element, with PT3/4" ports and a automatic drain. A filter does not set downstream pressure — pair it with a GR regulator, or use a GFR filter regulator, when pressure control is needed.
GF60020AJW is a genuine AirTAC GF-series air filter for compressed air only. It removes water and fine particulate from the line - it does not regulate pressure and it does not lubricate. This size 600 configuration has a PT3/4 (PT) port, the finer 5 um (W) filter element and a differential-pressure drain. The 600-size bowl is aluminium alloy, the maximum working pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing). The J suffix means this unit is supplied without a mounting bracket.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GF family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with a choice of port, PT/G/NPT thread, 40 um standard or 5 um (W) filtration, and differential-pressure, automatic or manual drains. Flow figures are published as curves rather than a single rated number - ask us and we will confirm the datasheet for this exact model on request.
| Model | AirTAC GF600-20 Filter (GF60020AJW) |

| Series | GF600 air filter |
| Port size | PT3/4" (PT thread) |
| Filtering grade | 5 µm |
| Drain type | Automatic drain |
| Bracket | Supplied without bracket |
| Fluid | Compressed air |
|---|---|
| Inlet pressure | 0.15 - 1.0 MPa (22 - 145 psi) |
| Max. working pressure | 1.0 MPa (145 psi) |
| Temperature range | -5 to +70 °C (unfreeze) |
| Bowl material | Aluminium alloy |
| Feature | Low pressure loss |
Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The inlet-pressure band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains run 0.15 - 1.0 MPa, a manual drain runs 0 - 0.9 MPa. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GF600 | G-series air filter, 600 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 20 | Port size PT3/4". This body offers 20 = PT3/4", 25 = PT1". |
| A | Drain: Automatic drain. Options are differential (blank), automatic (A) or manual (M). |
| J | Supplied without bracket. A bracket ships by default; J orders it without. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
Field order is size, port, drain, bracket, grade, thread — a blank position takes the default. Example: GF300-10AJW is a 300 body, PT3/8", automatic drain, no bracket, 5 µm element, PT thread.
A larger body carries a larger port and passes more air at the same pressure drop. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom rather than from a single rated figure. The GF600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Polishes compressed air with 5 um filtration ahead of lab analysers, purge fittings and pneumatic sample-handling gear where fine particulate would cause trouble.
Guards the solenoid valves and air cylinders on PCB handling and test fixtures from fine debris, on a 3/4 in branch serving a whole assembly bench line.
Filters the air feeding wrapper sealing jaws and product-feed cylinders on a packaging machine, catching fine dust before it reaches close-tolerance valve spools.
This is the fine-filtration version of the 600-size, 3/4 in PT frame: the W suffix selects the 5 um element instead of the 40 um standard, for protection of downstream components that are sensitive to finer particles. The drain is the default differential-pressure type; automatic (A) and manual (M) drains are catalogue alternatives. The trailing J deletes the mounting bracket. Thread is PT as standard, with G (BSPP) and NPT (T) available as catalogue options. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so please ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The aluminium-alloy bowl on the GF600 suits harsher environments than a PC bowl. A filter removes water and particulate only; it does not regulate pressure or add lubrication.
AirTAC publishes GF flow as performance curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote one number here. Send us your line pressure and required flow and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet on request.
The W suffix on this model selects the 5 um element for finer particulate removal; the blank position is the 40 um standard. If your downstream valves or instruments need only coarse protection, the 40 um version of the same 600-size, PT3/4 frame will do the job.
