The AirTAC AirTAC GF600-20 Filter (GF60020MJ) is a genuine G-series air filter. It separates condensed water and filters particulate from the compressed-air line through a 40 µm element, with PT3/4" ports and a manual drain. A filter does not set downstream pressure — pair it with a GR regulator, or use a GFR filter regulator, when pressure control is needed.
The GF60020MJ is an AirTAC G-series air filter that removes water and particulate from compressed air. It provides filtration only - there is no pressure regulation and no lubrication in this unit. This configuration is the size 600 body with 3/4 inch PT ports, the standard 40 um filter element, a manual drain that an operator opens to eject collected condensate, and no mounting bracket (J code), so it is fitted directly in the pipeline or to a customer-supplied support. The bowl on this size 600 unit is aluminium alloy. Because this is the manual-drain version of the GF filter, the maximum inlet pressure is 0 to 0.9 MPa, and the operating temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).
This is a genuine AirTAC part sold by an authorised distributor. The G-series filter family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with a choice of ports, drain types (differential-pressure, automatic or manual), 40 um or 5 um elements, bracket or no bracket, and PT, G or NPT threads. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we confirm flow and datasheet figures on request before you order.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The inlet-pressure band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains run 0.15 - 1.0 MPa, a manual drain runs 0 - 0.9 MPa. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GF600 | G-series air filter, 600 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 20 | Port size PT3/4". This body offers 20 = PT3/4", 25 = PT1". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain. Options are differential (blank), automatic (A) or manual (M). |
| J | Supplied without bracket. A bracket ships by default; J orders it without. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
Field order is size, port, drain, bracket, grade, thread — a blank position takes the default. Example: GF300-10AJW is a 300 body, PT3/8", automatic drain, no bracket, 5 µm element, PT thread.
A larger body carries a larger port and passes more air at the same pressure drop. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom rather than from a single rated figure. The GF600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Installed directly in the air header feeding pneumatic valve actuators on a process line, the filter removes water and particulate ahead of the actuators, with the manual drain opened during routine plant rounds.
Fitted inline on the air drop serving bagging and sealing heads at a packaging line, the size 600 body carries the line's high draw while the manual drain is bled at shift start-up and shutdown.
Mounted in the air supply to press-shop clamping and ejection circuits, the standard 40 um element protects directional valves and cylinders, with the bracket-less body fitted on the existing manifold pipework.
Size 600 with 3/4 inch PT ports is the largest step in the G-series filter range, so size it against the required flow of your line. The M code gives a manual drain for scheduled condensate discharge - note that on this GF filter the manual-drain version has a maximum inlet pressure of 0 to 0.9 MPa rather than 1.0 MPa - while the automatic and differential-pressure drains are available if you prefer hands-free operation. The standard 40 um element covers general plant-air protection, and the 5 um (W) variant exists for finer duty. The J code omits the mounting bracket, suiting installations where the filter is carried by its own pipework or an existing manifold; order the bracket variant if you want panel fixing. Thread is PT as standard, with G (BSPP) and NPT as catalogue options. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing before ordering.
Quick checklist
The aluminium-alloy bowl on the GF600 suits harsher environments than a PC bowl. A filter removes water and particulate only; it does not regulate pressure or add lubrication.
AirTAC publishes filter flow as performance curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote one number. Send us your application details and we will confirm the flow and the full datasheet for the GF60020MJ on request before you order.
J means the mounting bracket is not supplied, so the GF60020MJ is fitted directly in the line or on customer pipework; the same filter with the bracket included is available if you need panel mounting. Drain type and filter grade can also be varied - differential-pressure, automatic or manual drain, and 40 um or 5 um elements - in this same size 600, 3/4 inch port configuration.
