The AirTAC SU series is a double-acting profile-type standard cylinder with an extruded aluminum barrel and no external tie rods. It features adjustable air cushions at both ends and a standard sensor groove. It is more compact than an ISO 15552 cylinder of the same bore while sharing SC-series mounting accessories.
The range covers six bores: 32, 40, 50, 63, 80 and 100mm. Ports span 1/8 inch to 1/2 inch (PT/G/NPT). Operating pressure is 0.15-1.0 MPa with a proof pressure of 1.5 MPa. Standard temperature is -20 to +70 C with a 150 C seal option. Theoretical force spans 82 kgf at bore 32 to 801 kgf at bore 100.
The SU line is discontinued and replaced by the SAU series. The SAU is a true drop-in replacement: same body, bore, stroke, force, port size and SC-series mounting. The main change is sensors: the SU used older CS1-B/DS1-B switches while the SAU uses current CMSG/DMSG/EMSG switches. SAU also adds an SAUF option with a built-in 4M solenoid valve.
