AirTAC replaced this legacy unit with the SAU50X900STC, a true drop-in alternative retaining the exact bore, stroke, force, port, and SC-series mounting. The extruded aluminum body is shorter than an ISO 15552 cylinder of the same bore.
For sizing, the safe working load is roughly 589 N (60% of the 0.5 MPa push force), translating to a 50 kg vertical lift with a 2:1 margin. This -S SKU includes a piston magnet for legacy CS1-B/DS1-B switches; the SAU replacement upgrades this to CMSG/DMSG/EMSG sensors. The SAU line also introduces a SAUF valve-integrated option the SU series lacked. Note that air cushions only decelerate; use an external rod lock for load holding.
