The AirTAC SU50X90 is a discontinued double-acting profile-type cylinder with a 50mm bore and 90mm stroke. It delivers 982 N push and 825 N pull at 0.5 MPa, utilizing a 1/4" port and M16x1.5 rod thread. AirTAC replaced this unit with the SAU50X90, a true drop-in alternative retaining the exact bore, stroke, output force, port size, and SC-series mounting compatibility.
Because this SKU lacks a magnet, it cannot accept a sensing switch. The SAU upgrade introduces current CMSG/DMSG/EMSG sensors for magnetized variants, plus a SAUF built-in 4M solenoid valve option the SU line never offered. For sizing, a safe working load is roughly 589 N (60% of the 0.5 MPa push force), translating to a 50 kg vertical lift with a 2:1 safety margin.
