The AirTAC AirTAC GF600-20 Filter (GF60020MWG) is a genuine G-series air filter. It separates condensed water and filters particulate from the compressed-air line through a 5 µm element, with PT3/4" ports and a manual drain. A filter does not set downstream pressure — pair it with a GR regulator, or use a GFR filter regulator, when pressure control is needed.
GF60020MWG is an AirTAC G-series air filter, a filtration-only unit that removes condensed water and particulate from compressed air - no pressure regulation, no lubrication. This configuration is the large 600 frame in the G (BSPP) thread version, a parallel pipe thread widely used on European-style manifolds and fittings, with a 3/4 in port size. It carries the fine 5 um W filter element, a manual drain on the bowl, and the mounting bracket. Water collected in the bowl is expelled by manually opening the drain, and inlet pressure for this manual-drain filter is 0-0.9 MPa.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The 600 is the largest G-series filter size, with 200, 300 and 400 frames also available, plus the 40 um standard element, differential-pressure, automatic or manual drain options, and PT or NPT threads as alternatives to the G thread here. Flow figures are published by AirTAC only as performance curves, so we confirm flow and other datasheet values against your application on request before you order.
| Model | AirTAC GF600-20 Filter (GF60020MWG) |

| Series | GF600 air filter |
| Port size | PT3/4" (G (BSPP) thread) |
| Filtering grade | 5 µm |
| Drain type | Manual drain |
| Bracket | Mounting bracket included |
| Fluid | Compressed air |
|---|---|
| Inlet pressure | 0 - 0.9 MPa (0 - 131 psi) |
| Max. working pressure | 1.0 MPa (145 psi) |
| Temperature range | -5 to +70 °C (unfreeze) |
| Bowl material | Aluminium alloy |
| Feature | Low pressure loss |
Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The inlet-pressure band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains run 0.15 - 1.0 MPa, a manual drain runs 0 - 0.9 MPa. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GF600 | G-series air filter, 600 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 20 | Port size PT3/4". This body offers 20 = PT3/4", 25 = PT1". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain. Options are differential (blank), automatic (A) or manual (M). |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. A bracket ships by default; J orders it without. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| G | G (BSPP) thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
Field order is size, port, drain, bracket, grade, thread — a blank position takes the default. Example: GF300-10AJW is a 300 body, PT3/8", automatic drain, no bracket, 5 µm element, PT thread.
A larger body carries a larger port and passes more air at the same pressure drop. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom rather than from a single rated figure. The GF600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Mounted above a BSPP air manifold serving a multi-station assembly cell, the GF60020MWG cleans the shared supply feeding each workstation's pneumatic drivers and clamps.
Installed on the 3/4 in supply to air-knife nozzles on a packaging conveyor, it removes condensate and fine particles that would otherwise streak or spot the product surface.
On the shop-air header of an equipment service yard, the bracket-mounted filter with manual drain is bled each morning before the day's pneumatic repair work begins.
Choose this G-thread version when your pipework or manifold is specified in BSPP; PT is the standard thread and NPT is the other catalogue option if your fittings differ. The 600 frame with its 3/4 in port is the top G-series size - step down to 200/300/400 for smaller air demands. The M code gives a manual drain, best where an operator can bleed the bowl on a routine; pick automatic (A) or the differential-pressure default for unattended service. The W element means 5 um fine filtration rather than the 40 um standard, and the bracket is included on this code (J omits it).
Quick checklist
The aluminium-alloy bowl on the GF600 suits harsher environments than a PC bowl. A filter removes water and particulate only; it does not regulate pressure or add lubrication.
There is no single rated-flow figure for this filter in the AirTAC catalogue - flow is published as pressure-drop curves across the size, port and element combination. Tell us your line pressure and air demand and we will confirm the flow performance from the datasheet curves on request.
The trailing G is the thread option: G means BSPP (British Standard Parallel Pipe) thread, here on the 3/4 in port. Without a trailing letter the filter is supplied with PT thread as standard, and T would give NPT. All three are specification choices you select when ordering, matched to the fittings on your pipework.
