The AirTAC AirTAC GF600-25 Filter (GF60025AW) is a genuine G-series air filter. It separates condensed water and filters particulate from the compressed-air line through a 5 µm element, with PT1" ports and a automatic drain. A filter does not set downstream pressure — pair it with a GR regulator, or use a GFR filter regulator, when pressure control is needed.
The AirTAC GF600 series is a compressed-air filter: it removes water and particulate from the air line. It does not regulate pressure and does not lubricate. This GF60025AW is the large 600 frame with a 1" PT (BSPT-type) port, fitted with the fine 5 um element (W) and an automatic drain (A) that ejects collected condensate without anyone opening the drain. The bracket is included and the bowl on 600-size filters is aluminium alloy.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. Max working pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) with automatic drain, operating temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing), and the medium is compressed air only. The GF series is also available in 200, 300 and 400 sizes, with 40 um standard filtration, manual or differential-pressure drains, and G (BSPP) or NPT thread options. Published flow data is in curve form, so we confirm exact flow and datasheet figures on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The inlet-pressure band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains run 0.15 - 1.0 MPa, a manual drain runs 0 - 0.9 MPa. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GF600 | G-series air filter, 600 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 25 | Port size PT1". This body offers 20 = PT3/4", 25 = PT1". |
| A | Drain: Automatic drain. Options are differential (blank), automatic (A) or manual (M). |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. A bracket ships by default; J orders it without. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
Field order is size, port, drain, bracket, grade, thread — a blank position takes the default. Example: GF300-10AJW is a 300 body, PT3/8", automatic drain, no bracket, 5 µm element, PT thread.
A larger body carries a larger port and passes more air at the same pressure drop. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom rather than from a single rated figure. The GF600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Installed on the 1" branch feeding a stamping press hall, the GF60025AW strips condensate and pipe-scale from the plant air before it reaches valves and cylinders, with the automatic drain keeping the aluminium bowl clear during continuous multi-shift running.
Mounted where the 1" supply drops to a conveyor drive and stopper-valve manifold, the 5 um element protects directional valves and air motors on a bottling line from fine particulate while the auto drain handles moisture carry-over.
Fitted ahead of the distribution drops in a commercial vehicle paint booth, the filter catches water and fine dirt before the air reaches spray equipment, and the automatic drain removes condensate without stopping the booth for bowl dumping.
Step up to the 600 size with a 1" port when the main supply line to a large machine or distribution header is 1" and demand is too high for the 200-400 frames - AirTAC publishes flow as curves, not a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering. The 5 um (W) element suits points where finer particulate removal matters; the 40 um element is the standard choice for general line protection. This version's automatic drain (A) keeps the bowl empty without operator attention - choose manual (M) or differential-pressure drains where you prefer scheduled or load-based draining. Thread is PT as standard; G (BSPP) and NPT versions can be ordered. Bracket is included; the J suffix versions omit it.
Quick checklist
The aluminium-alloy bowl on the GF600 suits harsher environments than a PC bowl. A filter removes water and particulate only; it does not regulate pressure or add lubrication.
AirTAC publishes GF-series flow as performance curves rather than one rated figure, so we do not quote a single l/min or SCFM number here. Send us your application details and we will confirm the correct sizing and the datasheet flow curves on request.
The W suffix means this filter carries the 5 um element instead of the standard 40 um, for finer particulate removal where downstream equipment needs cleaner air. The A suffix is the automatic drain, which discharges collected condensate on its own - useful on large 600-size bowls that fill quickly and are hard to reach. Manual (M) and differential-pressure drain versions are available in the same frame.
