The AirTAC AirTAC GF600-20 Filter (GF60020W) is a genuine G-series air filter. It separates condensed water and filters particulate from the compressed-air line through a 5 µm element, with PT3/4" ports and a differential-pressure drain. A filter does not set downstream pressure — pair it with a GR regulator, or use a GFR filter regulator, when pressure control is needed.
GF60020W is an AirTAC G-series air filter, a filtration-only unit: it removes condensed water and particulate from compressed air, with no pressure regulation and no lubrication. This configuration is the large 600 frame with a 3/4 in PT (standard) port and the fine 5 um filter element (the W grade). The drain position is blank, which means the differential-pressure drain: as flow and pressure drop across the element build up, the drain opens and discharges collected condensate without an operator, resetting as conditions ease. Maximum inlet working pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The 600 size is the largest G-series filter frame; the GF range also spans 200, 300 and 400 sizes, with the 40 um standard element, automatic (A) or manual (M) drain alternatives, and G (BSPP) or NPT thread options to order. AirTAC publishes flow as performance curves rather than a single rated number, so we confirm flow and datasheet figures against your application on request.
| Model | AirTAC GF600-20 Filter (GF60020W) |

| Fluid | Compressed air |
|---|---|
| Inlet pressure | 0.15 - 1.0 MPa (22 - 145 psi) |
| Max. working pressure | 1.0 MPa (145 psi) |
| Temperature range | -5 to +70 °C (unfreeze) |
| Bowl material | Aluminium alloy |

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The inlet-pressure band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains run 0.15 - 1.0 MPa, a manual drain runs 0 - 0.9 MPa. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GF600 | G-series air filter, 600 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 20 | Port size PT3/4". This body offers 20 = PT3/4", 25 = PT1". |
| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain. Options are differential (blank), automatic (A) or manual (M). |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. A bracket ships by default; J orders it without. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
Field order is size, port, drain, bracket, grade, thread — a blank position takes the default. Example: GF300-10AJW is a 300 body, PT3/8", automatic drain, no bracket, 5 µm element, PT thread.
A larger body carries a larger port and passes more air at the same pressure drop. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom rather than from a single rated figure. The GF600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Installed on the 3/4 in air supply to a CNC machining centre, the GF60020W removes condensate and fine particulate before the air reaches tool-changers and pneumatic clamps.
Fitted ahead of pneumatic control-valve positioners on a process skid, the 5 um element keeps fine contamination out of the small internal orifices of the instrument air take-off.
Mounted on the branch feeding cylinder actuators along a bottling line, the differential-pressure drain discharges accumulated water during high-flow production periods without operator attention.
Size the unit to your demand: the 600 frame with its 3/4 in PT port serves the heaviest G-series duties, while 200/300/400 cover smaller lines. This blank-drain code uses the differential-pressure drain - a good middle choice where you want hands-off condensate discharge but prefer not to specify the automatic (A) drain; choose M only where manual bleeding is practical. The W element gives 5 um fine filtration versus the 40 um standard in the same code without W. The bracket is included on this code (J omits it), and thread is PT as standard with G and NPT available as ordered options.
Quick checklist
The aluminium-alloy bowl on the GF600 suits harsher environments than a PC bowl. A filter removes water and particulate only; it does not regulate pressure or add lubrication.
AirTAC does not state a single rated-flow figure for the GF60020W; flow performance appears only as pressure-drop curves across the 600 size, 3/4 in port and 5 um element. Share your operating pressure and air consumption with us and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet curves on request.
With no drain letter in the code, this filter uses the differential-pressure drain: the pressure drop across the element rises as it collects water and particulate, and that differential opens the drain to discharge condensate. Automatic (A) drains act continuously and independently, while manual (M) drains rely on an operator opening the valve - so pick the drain style to match how the filter is accessed in your installation.
