The AirTAC AirTAC GF600-20 Filter (GF60020MW) is a genuine G-series air filter. It separates condensed water and filters particulate from the compressed-air line through a 5 µm element, with PT3/4" ports and a manual drain. A filter does not set downstream pressure — pair it with a GR regulator, or use a GFR filter regulator, when pressure control is needed.
GF60020MW is an AirTAC G-series air filter, a filtration-only unit: it removes condensed water and particulate from compressed air, with no pressure regulation and no lubrication. This configuration is the large 600 frame with a 3/4 in PT (standard) port, the fine 5 um filter element (W grade), a manual drain on the bowl, and the mounting bracket included. With manual drainage, water is expelled by opening the drain periodically, so the bowl should be mounted where an operator can reach it; the included bracket fixes the body solidly to a panel or frame. Inlet pressure for this manual-drain filter is 0-0.9 MPa.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The 600 size is the largest G-series filter frame, and the GF range also comes in 200, 300 and 400 sizes with 40 um standard or 5 um fine elements, differential-pressure, automatic or manual drains, and G (BSPP) or NPT thread options on request. Because AirTAC publishes flow only as performance curves rather than one rated number, we confirm flow and datasheet figures against your application on request.

| Fluid | Compressed air |
|---|---|
| Inlet pressure | 0 - 0.9 MPa (0 - 131 psi) |

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The inlet-pressure band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains run 0.15 - 1.0 MPa, a manual drain runs 0 - 0.9 MPa. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GF600 | G-series air filter, 600 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 20 | Port size PT3/4". This body offers 20 = PT3/4", 25 = PT1". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain. Options are differential (blank), automatic (A) or manual (M). |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. A bracket ships by default; J orders it without. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
Field order is size, port, drain, bracket, grade, thread — a blank position takes the default. Example: GF300-10AJW is a 300 body, PT3/8", automatic drain, no bracket, 5 µm element, PT thread.
A larger body carries a larger port and passes more air at the same pressure drop. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom rather than from a single rated figure. The GF600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Fitted on the supply line to a vehicle paint-prep bay, the GF60020MW removes water carryover and fine particulate so spray-air is dry and clean at the gun.
Bracket-mounted on the wall frame of a maintenance shop, it cleans the 3/4 in branch that feeds pneumatic hand tools, hoists and test rigs around the bay.
Installed ahead of lab utility-air taps and bench manifolds, the 5 um element polishes the building compressed air feeding glassware-drying and general bench services.
Match the 600 frame and 3/4 in PT port to the largest G-series air demands; drop to 200/300/400 for lighter duties. The M code here means a manual drain - choose it when staff can bleed the bowl routinely, or select automatic (A) or the differential-pressure default for unattended duty. The W element gives 5 um fine filtration versus the 40 um standard in the blank code. This code includes the mounting bracket; the J version omits it. PT is the standard thread, with G (BSPP) and NPT as catalogue thread options to order.
Quick checklist
The aluminium-alloy bowl on the GF600 suits harsher environments than a PC bowl. A filter removes water and particulate only; it does not regulate pressure or add lubrication.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GF600 series as pressure-drop curves, not as a single rated-flow number, so there is no one figure we can quote. Give us your working pressure and required air consumption and we will confirm the correct size and port from the datasheet curves on request.
This GF60020MW carries the W code for a 5 um fine element, suited to protecting tools, valves and instruments from finer contamination. If your application only needs bulk water and coarse particle removal, the same filter with no W in the code uses the 40 um standard element, which is the economical choice for general plant air.
