Four steel tie rods clamp the aluminium barrel to the covers for extreme rigidity, while the two-way piston seal maintains an internal oil reservoir for long service life. Plan for about 14726 N of real work at 0.5 MPa, which lifts roughly 1251 kg vertically with a 2:1 safety margin.

Because this is a Ø250 bore, TPU seals are unavailable; instead, the front-cover packing and buffer gasket use NBR, with a Viton H option for 0-150 C high-temperature environments. The built-in -S piston magnet enables CMSG, DMSG, or EMSG switches for precise end-position detection. Dimensionally interchangeable per the ISO 15552 mounting interface, it accepts standard large-bore fixtures and breathes through a G1 air port.

If you need less power, the smaller Ø200 bore provides 15708 N push; if you need more, note that Ø250 is the largest SGC bore available. For strokes of 400 mm or longer, guide external loads carefully to prevent rod bending and premature seal wear.

The -S magnet allows direct mounting of CMSG, DMSG, or EMSG sensors. Remember that an unpowered cylinder drifts when air is lost or the valve centers—the 60 mm adjustable air cushion only decelerates the piston near stroke end.
