The AirTAC SUD100X300S is a double-acting, double-rod profile cylinder where a rod exits both ends, yielding equal push and pull force of 3681 N at 0.5 MPa, 5153 N at 0.7 MPa, and 6626 N at 0.9 MPa. This 100 mm bore, 300 mm stroke model is discontinued and replaced directly by the SAUD100X300S, retaining the 1/2 inch port, 29 mm cushions, and M20x1.5 rod thread.
Because both faces use the rod-side area, the back rod can drive a second tool or carry a sensor cam without losing thrust. The safe working load is roughly 2209 N, allowing a vertical lift of about 188 kg with a 2:1 margin. The legacy CS1-B/DS1-B sensors on this SUD model are superseded by CMSG/DMSG/EMSG switches on the SAUD. Note that air cushions only decelerate near stroke end; an external rod lock is required for load holding.
