The JSIJ series is the adjustable-stroke version of the AirTAC JSI JIS-standard profile air cylinder. It uses a no-tie-rod extruded-profile body and allows the extend stroke to be shortened on site within a set window by an adjusting screw. The nominal stroke represents the maximum travel.
The range covers seven bores from 32 to 125 mm. Adjust window codes include 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 75 and 100 mm. As a double-acting cylinder, the push force at 0.5 MPa spans from about 402 N on the 32 mm bore up to about 6136 N on the 125 mm bore. Ports scale with bore size.
Shared design features include standard pneumatic pressure and temperature ranges, along with standard magnetic-switch grooves. The magnet -S option supports switches for position sensing. This is a JIS-standard profile cylinder, not a tie-rod cylinder and not ISO 15552. Use JSIJ to trim the forward end position on site without external stops.
