AirTAC MF Series Mini Cylinders

The AirTAC MF series is a JIS-standard round-body mini cylinder built with a SUS304 stainless-steel barrel and aluminium-alloy covers joined by a riveted rolling-packed structure. It is not a tie-rod or extruded-profile cylinder. For the same bore and stroke, the MF body is shorter than an ISO 6432 cylinder, saving mounting length in tight assemblies. The base MF is double acting with fixed TPU bumper pads at both ends.

The range covers four bores: 20, 25, 32 and 40 mm. Rod diameter runs from 8 mm on the 20 mm bore up to 16 mm on the 40 mm bore. Ports are 1/8 inch on the 20/25 mm bores and 1/4 inch on the 32/40 mm bores, available in PT, G or NPT threads. Standard stroke extends to 500 mm, with special orders available up to 800 mm.

Force class spans about 157 N push at 0.5 MPa for the 20 mm bore, up to 628 N for the 40 mm bore. Theoretical maximum force at 1.0 MPa spans about 32 kgf to 128 kgf. Shared design specs include 40 um air filtration, 0.15-1.0 MPa operating pressure, 1.5 MPa proof pressure, -20 to +70 C temperature and 30-800 mm/s speed. A two-way grease-retaining piston seal is standard, and an -S magnet option supports CMSG, DMSG and EMSG sensors.
