The AirTAC PSB series is a single-acting, spring-return push pen-size mini cylinder. Air pressure extends the slim rod through one port, while an internal spring returns it. If air pressure is lost, the spring fails-safe to the retracted position, requiring only one solenoid line to operate.
The range spans five bores: 4, 6, 10, 12 and 16mm. Because it is single-acting, strokes are short and limited by bore size. Net extend force is the air force minus the return-spring force, and a minimum pressure is required before motion begins. Size your specific model from the manufacturer force figure.
Shared design features include a stainless barrel and a fixed TPU bumper that decelerates the piston near stroke end. The series is not a tie-rod, ISO 6432 or ISO 15552 cylinder. Max operating pressure is 0.7 MPa. An -S magnet option is available for position switches.
