AirTAC MBLC Series Cushioned Mini Cylinders

The MBLC series is the adjustable-air-cushion version of the AirTAC MBL aluminum-barrel mini round cylinder. It shares the same compact body, bores, rod, ports and mounting hardware as the base MBL, but replaces the fixed rubber bumper with a screw-adjustable pneumatic cushion at both ends. This needle valve tunes deceleration to match the load and speed, cutting end-cover impact, noise and vibration on faster or heavier moves. It is not an ISO cylinder; the core value is compact size plus tunable end-of-stroke control.

The range spans 6 bores from 20 to 63 mm, with rod diameters from 8 mm up to 16 mm. Ports are G1/8 on bores 20-32 and G1/4 on bores 40-63, available in PT, G or NPT threads. Standard strokes reach 500 mm, with special orders available up to 800 mm. The series operates on 40 um filtered air at 0.15-1.0 MPa, with a proof pressure of 1.5 MPa and a temperature range of -20 to +70 C. Operating speed spans 30-800 mm/s.

Force output scales with bore: push force at 0.5 MPa spans about 157 N on the 20 mm bore up to 1558 N on the 63 mm bore. Maximum theoretical force at 1.0 MPa spans about 32 kgf to 318 kgf. The cylinder uses an aluminum barrel and a carbon steel rod with 20 um chrome plating. Add the -S magnet option for CMSG, DMSG or EMSG sensor switches.
