AirTAC MFCJ Series Adjustable Cushioned Mini Cylinders

The MFCJ series is a JIS-standard round-body mini cylinder built for applications requiring both on-site stroke adjustment and end-of-stroke deceleration. It features a SUS304 stainless steel barrel and aluminum covers. The series spans two bores: 32 mm and 40 mm, with rod diameters of 12 mm and 16 mm respectively. It operates at pressures from 0.15-1.0 MPa and speeds of 30-800 mm/s.

The defining feature of the MFCJ line is the combination of an external stroke-adjustment screw and an adjustable air cushion at both ends. The external screw allows users to shorten the extend end position on-site by 10, 20, 30, or 40 mm using the adjust window codes. The cushion needle absorbs shock at high speeds. Note that the air cushion only decelerates the piston; it does not lock or hold the load.

In terms of force class, the series delivers a push force at 0.5 MPa of about 402 N for the 32 mm bore and 628 N for the 40 mm bore. The theoretical maximum force at 1.0 MPa is about 82 kgf (bore 32) to 128 kgf (bore 40). The MFCJ is part of a broader family: the MF is the base model, the MFC adds cushion only, and the MFJ adds adjustable stroke only. The MFCJ is notably shorter than an ISO 6432 cylinder of the same bore.
