The GR series is AirTAC's economy air pressure regulator in the G preparation family. It reduces upstream air to a stable downstream pressure, set by a knob and read on a gauge. It regulates only: there is no filter bowl, no element and no lubricator in the body, so it stays compact and easy to panel-mount. Four bodies cover the range - GR200 for 1/8 and 1/4 inch ports, GR300 for 1/4, 3/8 and 1/2 inch, GR400 for 3/8 and 1/2 inch, and GR600 for 3/4 and 1 inch.
Every body shares one specification: 1.0 MPa maximum inlet pressure, a 0.05-0.9 MPa adjustment range (7-130 psi), PT, G or NPT threads, panel mounting and a -20 to +70 C temperature window - wider than the -5 to +70 C of the G-family filters and lubricators, which helps near outdoor lines or cold stores. An embedded square gauge is standard and an external round gauge is optional; the ordering code also carries the gauge scale (1 MPa, 2 psi, 3 bar), a lower-pressure L type capped at 0.4 MPa, a J option without mounting bracket and a K suffix for the reverse-flow valve.

Typical Applications
Machine air supply at 0.5-0.6 MPa
A GR300 with 1/2 inch ports feeds cylinder and 3V/4V valve circuits on assembly machines; the standard 0.05-0.9 MPa adjustment range covers typical machine setpoints.
Low-pressure packaging actuation
The L type, capped at 0.4 MPa, gives finer knob resolution for delicate carton clamps and sealing-jaw cylinders that run well below standard plant pressure.
Panel-mounted control on printing lines
Panel mounting with the embedded square gauge (round gauge optional, MPa, psi or bar scale) lets a GR200 or GR300 sit flush in a press control cabinet.
Plant ring-main pressure control
A GR600 on 3/4 or 1 inch ports regulates the main distribution line after the receiver, stepping 1.0 MPa down to the working pressure of the workshop.
How to Choose the Right Model
Start with air demand and line size, not with a preferred model. GR200 suits 1/8 and 1/4 inch lines, GR300 and GR400 cover 1/4 to 1/2 inch circuits, and GR600 handles 3/4 and 1 inch distribution lines. Then pick the type by pressure band: the standard version reaches 0.9 MPa, while the L type gives finer resolution over a low band but tops out at 0.4 MPa, so it cannot hold a 0.5-0.6 MPa setpoint at all - the wrong part for a standard machine. Delete the gauge (N) where the panel already has one, and match the scale to the plant: MPa, psi or bar.
A regulator does not clean air. Where moisture or particles are present, put a GF filter upstream or choose the GFR filter regulator, which combines filter and regulator in one body; for lubrication step to the GC three-unit F.R.L. or the two-unit GFC, and to the GAR series for the higher-end line. Before ordering, confirm five points: body size against air demand, port size and thread (PT, G or NPT), type (standard or L), gauge fitted or deleted with its scale, and whether the K reverse-flow valve is required.

Maximum inlet (working) pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) on every body. The standard adjustment range is 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi). The lower-pressure L type tops out at 0.4 MPa and is for fine setting on low-pressure circuits only.
GR regulates pressure only; it has no filter bowl or element. If the air also needs cleaning, either fit a GF filter upstream or choose the GFR filter regulator, which combines both functions in one body.
