AirTAC Pneumatics
The AirTAC GC series combines filter, regulator and lubricator into one economy F.R.L. unit, in four body sizes covering 1/8 to 1 inch ports for machine air inlets.
inventory_2850 models availableThe AirTAC GC series is the economy three-unit F.R.L. combination from the G-series air preparation line: a filter, a regulator and a lubricator assembled on one bracket and fitted at the machine air inlet, ahead of the directional valves and actuators. The filter strips water and solid particles, the regulator holds a steady outlet pressure, and the lubricator meters a controlled oil mist to downstream moving parts. Four body sizes cover the range: GC200 with 1/8 and 1/4 inch ports, GC300 with 1/4, 3/8 and 1/2 inch, GC400 with 3/8 and 1/2 inch, and GC600 with 3/4 and 1 inch.
Every body shares one specification: air service, 40 um filtration as standard (5 um with the W element), 1.0 MPa (145 psi) maximum inlet pressure and -5 to +70 C operation. The regulator adjustment range is 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi) with the default differential-pressure or automatic drain, and widens to 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi) with manual drain M - useful for low-pressure benches. PC bowls are fitted on the 200, 300 and 400 sizes; the 600 size uses aluminium alloy bowls. Thread options are PT, G or NPT.
The ordering code GC{body}-{port} carries the options: drain (blank differential-pressure, A automatic, M manual), element (blank 40 um, W 5 um), gauge (blank fitted, N no gauge) with a round or square face and an MPa, psi or bar scale, thread (blank PT, G G-thread, T NPT) and a reflux (K) option. A B52- prefix marks the copper-free line. GC is the basic line in the G family; the higher-end equivalent is the GA series (GAC).

A GC300 with 1/2 inch ports and the 40 um element conditions the supply feeding 4V solenoid valves and the cylinders on a milling or turning cell, with the regulator holding a steady 0.15-0.9 MPa setting.
For unattended shifts, specify GC400 with automatic drain (A) and the 5 um W element: condensate is discharged without an operator and the 3V/4V valves downstream stay clear of fine particles.
The GC lubricator stage meters an oil mist to tools and actuators, so a GC300 with 3/8 inch ports suits workshop manifolds running impact wrenches and other lubricated equipment through the day.
Manual drain M widens the regulator range to 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi), so a GC200 with 1/4 inch ports covers low-pressure bench work that the standard 0.15 MPa floor cannot reach.
Size the body to air demand, not to the pipe on hand: GC200 for light 1/8-1/4 inch circuits, GC300 for general 1/4-1/2 inch machine supply, GC400 for heavier 3/8-1/2 inch duty, and GC600 for 3/4-1 inch main lines. Pick the drain by duty: the default differential-pressure drain discharges condensate without power, A drains automatically for unattended plants, and M gives operator draining while widening the regulator floor to 0.05 MPa. Choose the W element where sensitive devices sit downstream, and match the gauge face and scale (MPa, psi or bar) to the panel.
Confirm five points before ordering: body size against air demand, port and thread (PT, G or NPT), drain type, element grade (40 um or 5 um W), and gauge, scale plus the reflux (K) option if needed. Step out of the series when oil is the issue: if the downstream device must stay oil-free, use the GFR filter regulator, which has no lubricator stage. For a two-unit set, GFC pairs a filter-regulator with a lubricator, and single stages are available as GF, GR or GL in the same body sizes. For a premium specification, see the GAC line. Downstream, GC feeds AirTAC 3V/4V valves and the cylinders they drive.
Quick checklist
Four bodies: GC200 (1/8 and 1/4 inch ports), GC300 (1/4, 3/8 and 1/2 inch), GC400 (3/8 and 1/2 inch) and GC600 (3/4 and 1 inch). All share 1.0 MPa (145 psi) maximum inlet pressure and -5 to +70 C operation. Rated flow is not published for this series; send your air demand and we confirm the body size from the datasheet.
The default differential-pressure drain discharges condensate using the pressure differential itself, with no power needed; A drains automatically for unattended plants; M is drained by the operator and widens the regulator adjustment range from 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi) to 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi). The standard element is 40 um; order the W variant for 5 um filtration where sensitive devices sit downstream.
Yes. The three stages correspond to the G-series GF filter, GR regulator and GL lubricator in the same body size, so a single damaged stage is replaced individually instead of the whole set. Confirm the exact spare part code from the datasheet before ordering.
GC adds oil mist by design - that is the lubricator's job. If the downstream device must stay oil-free, use the GFR filter regulator, which has no lubricator stage; for a two-unit set, GFC pairs a filter-regulator with a lubricator. GC is the economy line and the higher-end equivalent is the GAC. All units are genuine AirTAC parts, standard models ship from stock, and a B52- prefix marks the copper-free line.
