AirTAC ACQJ Series Adjustable Compact Cylinders

The ACQJ is the adjustable-stroke version of the AirTAC ACQ JIS-dimension compact (thin) cylinder. An external adjusting screw shortens the extend stroke on site, which is critical when panel depth is tight. It is a double-acting cylinder with a fixed elastomer bumper and a C-clip retained body, not a tie-rod or ISO cylinder.

The series spans 13 bores from 12 to 160 mm. Because it is double acting, the push force is greater than the pull force. At 0.5 MPa, the push force spans from about 56.5 N on the 12 mm bore up to roughly 10053 N on the 160 mm bore. Ports scale with the bore size, and magnetic-switch grooves are standard across the range.

A key information-gain fact is that the elastomer bumper only decelerates the piston near stroke end; it does not hold position if air pressure is lost. For load holding, a mechanical lock or pilot check valve is required. The -S option denotes a magnet for switches.
