The 4V42015C-AM is the double-solenoid 5/2 valve in AirTAC's largest 4V body, built to switch compressed air between the two sides of double-acting cylinders and actuators through 1/2-inch PT ports. As a memory valve it keeps whichever position it was last pulsed into: land friction and balanced pressure hold the spool, so no spring pulls it back and no current is needed to keep it there - it is not magnetically latched. An effective area of 48 mm2 (Cv 2.82) puts it in the flow class that suits bores of roughly 80-125 mm.
