The ACED16X55S is a double acting, double-rod ISO 21287 compact cylinder: an 8 mm rod leaves both covers, so push and pull are identical at 75.4 N on a 0.5 MPa supply (105.6 N at 0.7 MPa). Because the through-rod is guided at both ends, it resists rotation and light side load, and the rear rod can carry a sensor flag or a second tooling plate.
