About the Airtac ACED Double-acting Compact Cylinder ACED63X25SB
A double acting compact cylinder built to ISO 21287, the ACED63X25SB pushes a 63 mm piston through a 25 mm stroke with a rod leaving BOTH covers. Because each side of the piston sees the rod-side area, output is identical in either direction: 1458.1 N at 0.5 MPa and 2041.3 N at 0.7 MPa, with a peak of 297.4 kgf at 1.0 MPa. The through-rod resists rotation and side load, and the rear rod gives you a free mounting point for a sensor flag.
The short ISO 21287 body saves about 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, so it slots into tight clamping stations and gantries.
