About the Airtac ACED Double-acting Compact Cylinder ACED80X300SB
A double acting compact cylinder built to ISO 21287, the ACED80X300SB drives a 20 mm rod out of BOTH covers, so thrust is identical on the extend and retract strokes - 2356.2 N at 0.5 MPa and 3298.7 N at 0.7 MPa either way. The male-threaded rod ends (B code) accept standard rod knuckles, and the through-rod resists rotation and side load while the rear rod can carry a sensor flag. Fixed TPU bumpers at each end absorb end-of-stroke shock, and travel runs 30-500 mm/s.
The short ISO 21287 body saves about 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, so this 300 mm stroke unit fits gantries and sliding guards that cannot house a full-length body. The hard-anodized aluminium bore with an S45C hard-chrome rod stands up to continuous cycling.
