About the Airtac ACP Compact Cylinder ACP32X25
A DIN-standard compact cylinder with a short ISO 21287-style body, the ACP32X25 is double acting: air both extends and retracts the 12 mm rod. At 0.5 MPa it delivers 402.1 N push and 345.6 N pull, and its 25 mm stroke suits tight jigs where a full-length body will not fit - the short build saves about 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder.
The hard-anodized aluminium body carries a fixed TPU bumper at both ends, and the S45C hard-chrome rod ends in a female M8x1.25 thread. Plan on roughly 240 N of usable push at 0.5 MPa (about 60% of rating), which lifts around 12 kg vertically with a 2:1 margin. This model is discontinued; the current-production drop-in is ACE32X25, so confirm ISO 21287 mounting dimensions before swapping.

Replacing the Airtac ACP Compact Cylinder ACP32X25 with the ACE32X25
At 32 mm bore you get 402.1 N push at 0.5 MPa; step down to the 25 mm bore (245.4 N) for lighter clamping or up to the 40 mm bore (628.3 N) for heavier work. The 25 mm stroke is well inside the 200 mm standard limit for this bore. FA/FB flange, LB foot and CA/CB clevis mountings bolt straight onto the ISO 21287 face, and the optional -S magnet enables CMSE / DMSE switches - this code has no magnet, so order ACP32X25S if you need position sensing. A plain cylinder drifts when air is lost, so add a rod lock or pilot check valve for held loads. Choose ACE32X25 as the current replacement.
