About the Airtac ACP Compact Cylinder ACP32X250B
The ACP32X250B is a double acting compact cylinder in the DIN-standard ACP series, with a 32 mm bore and a 250 mm male-threaded rod stroke. At 0.5 MPa it pushes with 402.1 N and pulls with 345.6 N, rising to 563 N push at 0.7 MPa, so it sits in the mid-force class for jigs and small gantries. The 250 mm stroke is longer than the 200 mm standard limit for this bore, so it is a made-to-order build. Note: this model is discontinued; the current-production replacement is ACE32X250.
The hard-anodized aluminium body with an S45C hard-chrome rod keeps the short ISO 21287-class footprint, saving roughly 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder - useful where a full-length body will not fit. Fixed TPU bumpers decelerate the piston at both ends. As a working rule, plan on about 240 N (roughly 24 kg of vertical lift with a 2:1 margin) rather than the full 402.1 N rating. Air supply is 0.15-1.0 MPa (22-145 psi), speed 30-500 mm/s, and the port is 1/8".

Replacing the Airtac ACP Compact Cylinder ACP32X250B with the ACE32X250B
Size check: a 25 mm bore gives 245.4 N push at 0.5 MPa, while a 40 mm bore reaches 628.3 N - the 32 mm bore at 402.1 N is the middle choice for this stroke. Because the 250 mm stroke exceeds the 200 mm standard for bore 32, order it as a non-standard build or confirm lead time. The B code gives a male rod thread (M8x1.25 on this bore) with a PT port thread. If you need position feedback, order the -S variant with the optional magnet for CMSE / DMSE switches - this code has no magnet fitted. For loads that must stay put when air drops, add a rod lock or pilot check valve. This model is discontinued; swap to ACE32X250 and confirm the ISO 21287 mounting dimensions first.
