The AirTAC AirTAC GF200-06 Filter (GF20006M) is a genuine G-series air filter. It separates condensed water and filters particulate from the compressed-air line through a 40 µm element, with PT1/8" ports and a manual drain. A filter does not set downstream pressure — pair it with a GR regulator, or use a GFR filter regulator, when pressure control is needed.
The GF series is an air filter only: it removes water and particulate from compressed air, with no regulation and no lubrication. This GF20006M is built at size 200 with 1/8 in. PT ports, carries the standard 40 um element, and the M suffix specifies a manual drain, so accumulated condensate is released by hand as part of routine checks. A mounting bracket is included. With a manual drain the maximum inlet pressure is 0.9 MPa (130 psi), the temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing), and the size 200 bowl is polycarbonate (PC).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GF range covers sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 in. to 1 in., with a choice of drain type (differential-pressure, automatic or manual), 40 um or 5 um filtration, bracket option, and PT, G (BSPP) or NPT threads; at size 600 the bowl is aluminium alloy. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so we confirm the datasheet figures for your application on request.

| Fluid | Compressed air |
|---|---|
| Inlet pressure | 0 - 0.9 MPa (0 - 131 psi) |

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The inlet-pressure band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains run 0.15 - 1.0 MPa, a manual drain runs 0 - 0.9 MPa. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GF200 | G-series air filter, 200 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 06 | Port size PT1/8". This body offers 06 = PT1/8", 08 = PT1/4". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain. Options are differential (blank), automatic (A) or manual (M). |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. A bracket ships by default; J orders it without. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
Field order is size, port, drain, bracket, grade, thread — a blank position takes the default. Example: GF300-10AJW is a 300 body, PT3/8", automatic drain, no bracket, 5 µm element, PT thread.
A larger body carries a larger port and passes more air at the same pressure drop. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom rather than from a single rated figure. The GF600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

A manual-drain filter on a small workshop drop, where the operator bleeds accumulated water during daily compressor checks.
Fitted in a drop leg off a shop air main to collect condensate and particulate, with manual draining built into routine maintenance rounds.
Conditioning shop air for impact wrenches and inflation stations in a truck or car service bay, with the drain checked as part of the shift routine.
Size 200 with 1/8 in. PT ports is the smallest step of the G series, matched to light point-of-use duties; step up to 300, 400 or 600 for larger ports and higher flow. The M code specifies a manual drain, which sets the maximum inlet pressure at 0.9 MPa (130 psi) and puts draining on a routine-check schedule; the differential-pressure default and the automatic (A) drain are the alternatives, rated to 1.0 MPa (145 psi). The element is the standard 40 um (W gives 5 um) and a bracket is included. Thread is PT as standard, with G (BSPP) and NPT to order. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents or exposed to synthetic oils that attack polycarbonate — wipe it with a dry cloth. A filter removes water and particulate only; it does not regulate pressure or add lubrication.
Flow for the GF series is published as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not state a number on this page. Tell us your line pressure and demand and we will confirm the datasheet curve and correct size for the application on request.
M specifies a manual drain: condensate is released by hand during routine checks instead of by the differential-pressure or automatic drain. With a manual drain the maximum inlet pressure is 0.9 MPa (130 psi) rather than 1.0 MPa. The 40 um element, 1/8 in. PT ports and included bracket are unchanged.
