The AirTAC AirTAC GF200-08 Filter (GF20008J) is a genuine G-series air filter. It separates condensed water and filters particulate from the compressed-air line through a 40 µm element, with PT1/4" ports and a differential-pressure drain. A filter does not set downstream pressure — pair it with a GR regulator, or use a GFR filter regulator, when pressure control is needed.
The AirTAC GF20008J is a G-series air filter that removes water and particulate from compressed air. It is filtration only - no pressure regulation and no lubrication. This size 200 configuration has a PT1/4 port (1/4 inch, PT thread as standard), a 40 um standard filter element, the default differential-pressure drain, and the J suffix meaning no mounting bracket - the body mounts directly in the line. The PC (polycarbonate) bowl suits general plant air service.
This is a genuine AirTAC part from the G series, which spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600, with bracket-included versions, automatic or manual drains, a 5 um fine element and G (BSPP) or NPT threads as options. Published flow data appears as curves rather than a single rating, so contact us and we will confirm the flow figures and full datasheet on request.
| Model | AirTAC GF200-08 Filter (GF20008J) |

| Series | GF200 air filter |
| Port size | PT1/4" (PT thread) |
| Filtering grade | 40 µm |
| Drain type | Differential-pressure drain |
| Bracket | Supplied without bracket |
| Fluid | Compressed air |
|---|---|
| Inlet pressure | 0.15 - 1.0 MPa (22 - 145 psi) |
| Max. working pressure | 1.0 MPa (145 psi) |
| Temperature range | -5 to +70 °C (unfreeze) |
| Bowl material | PC |
| Feature | Low pressure loss |
Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The inlet-pressure band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains run 0.15 - 1.0 MPa, a manual drain runs 0 - 0.9 MPa. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GF200 | G-series air filter, 200 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 08 | Port size PT1/4". This body offers 06 = PT1/8", 08 = PT1/4". |
| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain. Options are differential (blank), automatic (A) or manual (M). |
| J | Supplied without bracket. A bracket ships by default; J orders it without. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
Field order is size, port, drain, bracket, grade, thread — a blank position takes the default. Example: GF300-10AJW is a 300 body, PT3/8", automatic drain, no bracket, 5 µm element, PT thread.
A larger body carries a larger port and passes more air at the same pressure drop. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom rather than from a single rated figure. The GF600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Installed inline on the compressed air feed to cartoning and wrapping machines, removing moisture and particulate before the air reaches the machine's directional valves and vacuum generators.
Mounted directly in the air drop feeding torque tools and clamping fixtures at an assembly bench, where no bracket is needed because the pipework itself supports the filter body.
Fitted on the supply line to small pneumatic presses and riveting units, with the differential-pressure drain shedding condensate during each production cycle.
Size 200 with a 1/4 inch PT port is the smallest step in the G series; move to sizes 300, 400 or 600 for larger ports and more flow. The J suffix on this model removes the mounting bracket, which suits panel-free direct line mounting - order the plain GF20008 if you want the bracket included. The default 40 um element covers general air prep; the W suffix gives a 5 um fine grade. Drains: default differential-pressure, automatic (A) or manual (M). Thread is PT as standard, with G (BSPP) and NPT available as ordered options.
Flow is published as curves, not a single rated figure, so please ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents or exposed to synthetic oils that attack polycarbonate — wipe it with a dry cloth. A filter removes water and particulate only; it does not regulate pressure or add lubrication.
AirTAC publishes flow for this filter as curves, not as a single rated number, so we will not quote a figure we cannot verify. Send us your application details and we will confirm the flow curves and datasheet figures on request before you order.
The J suffix means this size 200, PT1/4 filter is supplied without a mounting bracket, so the body is supported by the piping it is installed in. If you prefer to bolt the filter to a panel or backplate, choose the bracket-included GF20008 instead.
