The AirTAC Airtac GF Filter GF300C08M is a genuine G-series air filter. It separates condensed water and filters particulate from the compressed-air line through a 40 µm element, with See datasheet ports and a differential-pressure drain. A filter does not set downstream pressure — pair it with a GR regulator, or use a GFR filter regulator, when pressure control is needed.
The GF300C08M is a genuine AirTAC G-series air filter for compressed air only. It removes water and particulate from the line - nothing more: no pressure regulation and no lubrication. This 300-size unit has a 1/4" PT port, a 40 um standard filter element and a manual drain, so moisture collected in the bowl is released by opening the drain when an operator chooses, which suits lines that are blown down as part of a regular maintenance routine. The bowl on this size is polycarbonate, and the inlet pressure range for this manual-drain filter is 0-0.9 MPa (0-130 psi).
AirTAC builds the GF300 series in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8" to 1", drain options (differential-pressure, automatic or manual), an optional 5 um element (suffix W) and optional G (BSPP) or NPT threads. This unit ships with a mounting bracket as standard. Flow figures for the G series are published as curves rather than a single rated number - ask us and we will confirm the datasheet and sizing figures on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The inlet-pressure band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains run 0.15 - 1.0 MPa, a manual drain runs 0 - 0.9 MPa. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

|---|---|
| C0 | Port size See datasheet. This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain. Options are differential (blank), automatic (A) or manual (M). |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. A bracket ships by default; J orders it without. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
Field order is size, port, drain, bracket, grade, thread — a blank position takes the default. Example: GF300-10AJW is a 300 body, PT3/8", automatic drain, no bracket, 5 µm element, PT thread.
A larger body carries a larger port and passes more air at the same pressure drop. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom rather than from a single rated figure. The GF600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Fitted upstream of the solenoid valves on a machining centre's pneumatic clamps, the GF300C08M strips condensed water and swarf-carrying particulate out of the shop air feeding the clamping cylinders, and the manual drain is emptied during the shift-end check.
On a bottling line, the air cylinders that raise and lower conveyor stop gates need water-free air to avoid sticking spools. This filter's 1/4" PT port drops straight into the 1/4" drop leg at each stop station.
In an automotive or maintenance workshop, a GF300C08M at the head of each 1/4" bench drop keeps rust scale and pipe condensate out of impact wrenches and blow guns, with the bowl drained at the end of each shift.
Step up or down through the G-series sizes - 200, 300, 400 or 600 - to match port size and flow demand; this 300-size unit takes a 1/4" PT connection. Choose the drain to suit the installation: manual (this unit) for scheduled blowdown, automatic for unattended lines, or the default differential-pressure type. The standard element is 40 um; order the W suffix for the 5 um grade. Thread is PT as standard, with G (BSPP) and NPT as catalogue options; the J suffix deletes the bracket if you mount on your own plate.
Because AirTAC publishes filter flow as curves and not as one rated figure, we do not quote a flow number here. Send us your line conditions and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents or exposed to synthetic oils that attack polycarbonate — wipe it with a dry cloth. A filter removes water and particulate only; it does not regulate pressure or add lubrication.
AirTAC publishes G-series flow performance as curves across a pressure range rather than as a single rated figure, so there is no one flow number we can honestly quote. Tell us your working pressure and demand and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet on request before you order.
The manual drain on the GF300C08M releases collected condensate only when an operator opens it, which suits attended lines with a fixed maintenance routine. If the filter sits where nobody drains it regularly, order the same model with the A suffix for an automatic drain, or leave the drain code blank for the differential-pressure type.
