The AirTAC Airtac GF Filter GF300C15AJ is a genuine G-series air filter. It separates condensed water and filters particulate from the compressed-air line through a 40 µm element, with See datasheet ports and a differential-pressure drain. A filter does not set downstream pressure — pair it with a GR regulator, or use a GFR filter regulator, when pressure control is needed.
The GF300C15AJ is an AirTAC G-series air filter - water and particulate removal only, with no regulation and no lubrication. It is identical in function to the GF300C15A (300 size, PT1/2" ports, 40 um standard element, automatic drain) but carries the J suffix, meaning no mounting bracket is supplied; the unit is plumbed directly into the line or mounted on your own fabricated support. The 300-size bowl is polycarbonate, maximum working pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), and the temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GF family covers sizes 200 to 600 with ports from 1/8" to 1", 40 um standard or 5 um optional elements, differential-pressure, automatic or manual drains, G (BSPP) and NPT thread options, and bracket-included or J (no bracket) codes. Flow appears in the catalogue only as curves, so we confirm datasheet and flow figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The inlet-pressure band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains run 0.15 - 1.0 MPa, a manual drain runs 0 - 0.9 MPa. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| C1 | Port size See datasheet. This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain. Options are differential (blank), automatic (A) or manual (M). |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. A bracket ships by default; J orders it without. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
Field order is size, port, drain, bracket, grade, thread — a blank position takes the default. Example: GF300-10AJW is a 300 body, PT3/8", automatic drain, no bracket, 5 µm element, PT thread.
A larger body carries a larger port and passes more air at the same pressure drop. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom rather than from a single rated figure. The GF600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Built into a machine builder's own pneumatic sub-plate where the builder fabricates its own mounting, the bracketless 1/2" filter drops straight into the plumbed air preparation stack.
Installed inline on the air drops feeding loom and spinning-frame cylinders, the automatic drain handles stop-start production shifts while the rigid pipework carries the filter without a bracket.
Fitted on the compressed air supply to air-knife drying stations on a washdown line, the 40 um element protects the nozzle manifold and the inline mounting keeps the panel layout uncluttered.
Pick the J (no bracket) version when the filter is inline-mounted with pipework taking its weight or when you supply your own bracket; choose the bracket-included code for panel or wall fixing straight out of the box. Size 300 with 1/2" PT ports suits half-inch branch lines; go to 400/600 for larger mains or 200 for compact duty. The 40 um element is the standard grade, with the 5 um W version for finer protection. The automatic drain suits intermittent flow; PT is the standard thread with G (BSPP) and NPT as catalogue options.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents or exposed to synthetic oils that attack polycarbonate — wipe it with a dry cloth. A filter removes water and particulate only; it does not regulate pressure or add lubrication.
AirTAC publishes filter flow as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not state a number the catalogue does not contain. Share your line pressure and required air consumption and we will confirm the sizing against the datasheet curves on request.
Only the mounting: J means no bracket is included, so the filter is plumbed inline or fitted on your own support. Function is unchanged - same 300-size body, PT1/2" ports, 40 um element and automatic drain. If you need to panel- or wall-mount the unit without fabricating a bracket, order the bracket-included code instead.
