The AirTAC Airtac GF Filter GF400C10 is a genuine G-series air filter. It separates condensed water and filters particulate from the compressed-air line through a 40 µm element, with See datasheet ports and a differential-pressure drain. A filter does not set downstream pressure — pair it with a GR regulator, or use a GFR filter regulator, when pressure control is needed.
GF400C10 is an AirTAC G-series air filter, 400 size, with a PT3/8 female port (PT is the standard thread), a differential-pressure drain bowl and the standard 40 um filter element. The differential-pressure drain vents collected water in normal service without operator attention. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing. This unit filters water and particulate only - there is no pressure regulation and no lubrication in the GF family.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GF range covers 200, 300, 400 and 600 sizes with ports from 1/8 to 1 inch, differential-pressure, automatic or manual drains, 40 um standard or 5 um fine elements, and G (BSPP) or NPT thread options besides the PT standard; a mounting bracket is included. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet and sizing on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The inlet-pressure band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains run 0.15 - 1.0 MPa, a manual drain runs 0 - 0.9 MPa. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| C1 | Port size See datasheet. This body offers 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain. Options are differential (blank), automatic (A) or manual (M). |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. A bracket ships by default; J orders it without. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
Field order is size, port, drain, bracket, grade, thread — a blank position takes the default. Example: GF300-10AJW is a 300 body, PT3/8", automatic drain, no bracket, 5 µm element, PT thread.
A larger body carries a larger port and passes more air at the same pressure drop. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom rather than from a single rated figure. The GF600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

On maintenance-shop air drops serving impact wrenches, drills and blow guns, the 40 um element and differential-pressure drain give general line protection with no operator attention to the bowl.
Feeding an injection-molding cell's take-out robots and core-pull cylinders, the filter removes water and debris from the header air ahead of the cell's directional valves.
On a furniture plant's nailing and stapling line, the PT3/8 filter conditions the air feeding the nailer manifolds, keeping rust and condensate out of the drivers.
Size 400 with a 3/8 inch PT port is a common mid-range frame; move to 300 or 600 if your flow demand points that way - we will verify against the published curve before you order. The 40 um element here is the standard grade; specify W for the 5 um fine element where the point of use needs cleaner air. The differential-pressure drain (the C position in the code) is the default; automatic (A) and manual (M) drains are the other catalogue choices. Thread here is PT as standard; G (BSPP) and NPT are available options. A mounting bracket is included.
Flow is published as curves, not a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents or exposed to synthetic oils that attack polycarbonate — wipe it with a dry cloth. A filter removes water and particulate only; it does not regulate pressure or add lubrication.
There is no single rated flow figure for this filter - AirTAC publishes flow as performance curves. We do not quote a number here; send us your line pressure and demand and we will confirm the curve and datasheet for the GF400C10 on request.
The C position denotes the differential-pressure drain, the default bowl that vents collected water in normal service without operator attention. If you prefer a bowl that expels water on a schedule, choose the manual-drain version (M); for unattended automatic expulsion, choose the A version. We can help you match the drain type to your application.
