This design minimizes overall length, saving axial mounting depth versus a round-body cylinder. It is not a tie-rod cylinder and not an ISO 15552 profile cylinder.
The range covers 10 bores from 12 to 100 mm. Rod diameter scales from 6 mm on the 12 mm bore up to 32 mm on the 100 mm bore. Ports are M5x0.8 on 12-25 mm bores, PT1/8 on 32/40 mm, PT1/4 on 50/63 mm, and PT3/8 on 80/100 mm. Push force at 0.5 MPa spans about 57 N to 3927 N. Theoretical max push at 1.0 MPa spans about 12 kgf to 801 kgf.
Shared design features include a hard-anodized bore, aluminum body and covers, and a two-way piston seal. Deceleration uses a fixed NBR bumper at each end (no adjustable air cushion). Operating pressure is 0.15-1.0 MPa, proof pressure is 1.5 MPa, temperature range is -20 to +70 C, and speed is 30-500 mm/s. The -S option adds a magnet for AirTAC magnetic switches. Variants include SSA (single acting push), STA (single acting pull), SDAD (double rod), SDAJ (adjustable stroke), and SDAT/SDAW (duplex). The JIS compact equivalent is the ACQ series.
