The AirTAC Airtac 3V-F Base 3V100M7F is a genuine 3V-F manifold base manifold base for 7 stations on one shared air supply. A base is a machined block: it carries no coil and no solenoid, so the valves that sit on it are ordered separately.
A 3/2 valve has three ports - supply, outlet and exhaust - and two states: it either feeds air to the outlet or vents the outlet to exhaust. The 3V100M7F is not a valve itself; it is the machined 7-station base onto which 3V1 series 3/2 solenoid valves are mounted, all drawing from one shared air supply.
It is a genuine AirTAC part. The 3V1 family offers normally closed and normally open valves, five coil voltages and both DIN plug and flying-lead entries, so one base serves many panel designs. Because valves are ordered separately, tell us which stations you want filled. We will confirm datasheet figures for any valve you choose on request.

A 3/2 valve has three ports — supply, outlet and exhaust — and two states. It either feeds the outlet or vents it to exhaust, and that is the whole job.
That makes it the right valve for a single-acting (spring-return) cylinder, on/off air blow, a clamp, switching a vacuum generator or suction cup, and piloting a larger valve.
It cannot run a double-acting cylinder. A double-acting cylinder needs air alternately on two sides, which takes a 5-port valve — the AirTAC 4V series.
A table-top cartoner or blister machine with several single-acting reject pins and pushers, all fed from one air line and switched valve by valve.
A machining jig with seven clamp positions vented to spring-return clamps, each applied or released at its own valve station.
Seven independently switched air nozzles clearing chips or dust along a production line, all served by one common supply.
Decide first how many stations you need live now and how many you want to grow into - a 7-station base is cheaper to expand than to replace. Each station takes one 3V1 series 3/2 valve, ordered separately: normally closed when the outlet must vent on power loss, normally open when it must keep feeding. Match the coil voltage on every valve to your panel supply; a coil cannot be rewired to a different voltage.
We do not hold published flow figures for this family in hand, so ask us to check sizing against your actuators before you commit. If you need fully documented flow and coil power today, the 3V2 (1/8in and 1/4in) and 3V3 (1/4in) valve bodies carry published figures. And a double-acting cylinder calls for a 5-port AirTAC 4V valve, not a 3/2.
Confirm before you order
The valves are ordered separately, and published figures for the 3V1 family are not in our hands. Send your actuator details and we will confirm pressure, flow and coil power from the AirTAC datasheet. If you need documented figures before you enquire, the 3V2 and 3V3 bodies have published flow and coil-power figures.
No - it is the machined manifold block only. You order each 3V1 series 3/2 valve separately, choosing NC or NO state, coil voltage and electrical entry per station. For double-acting cylinders use the 5-port AirTAC 4V series; the 3/2 valves that mount here suit single-acting duty.
