About the Airtac 3V-F Base 3V100M9F
The 3V100M9F is a machined manifold base with nine stations, made to carry AirTAC 3/2 solenoid valves from the 3V1x0 family on a single shared air feed. It carries no coil itself, so there is no voltage, no electrical state and no power draw at the base - those belong to the valves you mount on it. With one common supply, one mounting surface and one wiring route for nine valves, the base turns nine separate installs into one tidy block.

What a 3/2 Valve Does
A 3/2 valve has three ports — supply, outlet and exhaust — and two states. It either feeds the outlet or vents it to exhaust, and that is the whole job.
That makes it the right valve for a single-acting (spring-return) cylinder, on/off air blow, a clamp, switching a vacuum generator or suction cup, and piloting a larger valve.
It cannot run a double-acting cylinder. A double-acting cylinder needs air alternately on two sides, which takes a 5-port valve — the AirTAC 4V series.

Is the Airtac 3V-F Base 3V100M9F the Right Part?
Choose this 9-station base when several 3/2 valves sit close together on one machine and you want a single air feed instead of nine individual supplies and nine scattered mountings. Consolidating the valves on one block shortens the piping run, groups the wiring into one loom and makes fault-finding a matter of walking down the stations rather than hunting around the frame.
The base itself makes no choices about function - those come from the valves you order for it. Pick normally closed bodies where the outlet must stay vented until energised, normally open where it must stay fed, and match each coil voltage to the panel supply, since a coil cannot be changed by rewiring. If sizing matters, note that published flow figures for this family are not available to us, so ask us to confirm suitability against your actuators before ordering. Where a fully specified 3-port valve is needed today, the documented AirTAC 3V2 (1/8in and 1/4in) and 3V3 (1/4in) direct-acting bodies carry published flow and coil-power data, and a double-acting cylinder needs a 5-port valve from the AirTAC 4V series instead.
