The AirTAC 3V2MNOEI-4F mounts four normally open 3/2 valves on a single 4-station base, so one PT1/8 supply line and one wiring run cover the whole group. Each valve is direct-acting, spring-return and coaxial shut-off, with a Cv 0.1 flow path through the base. With the NO initial state, all four outlets feed air until their AC24V coils (7 VA each, on flying leads) are energised.
Exhaust is centralised: all four stations vent through the base instead of each carrying its own silencer, which keeps the manifold face clean and simplifies ducting on crowded machines. If your layout needs per-station venting instead, the same valves are offered as an independent-exhaust variant. The state cannot be reworked later - flipping the dedicated gasket does not turn NO into NC.

What a 3/2 Valve Does
A 3/2 valve has three ports — supply, outlet and exhaust — and two states. It either feeds the outlet or vents it to exhaust, and that is the whole job.
That makes it the right valve for a single-acting (spring-return) cylinder, on/off air blow, a clamp, switching a vacuum generator or suction cup, and piloting a larger valve.
It cannot run a double-acting cylinder. A double-acting cylinder needs air alternately on two sides, which takes a 5-port valve — the AirTAC 4V series.
