Because it uses an extruded hard-anodized aluminum barrel instead of external rods, the overall envelope is noticeably shorter and more compact than an ISO 15552 cylinder of the same 32 mm bore.
The internal two-way piston seal retains grease for low-friction cycling, while the adjustable 20 mm air cushions at both ends decelerate the 12 mm rod smoothly. Plan for roughly 241 N of actual work at 0.5 MPa, which translates to lifting about 20 kg vertically with a 2:1 safety margin. This base SKU lacks the -S magnet, so it cannot accept CMSE or DMSE position switches in the side grooves.
