The AirTAC GFR200-08 AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/4 Manual Drain is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/4" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR200-08 is an AirTAC GFR-series filter regulator: one body that removes water and particulate from compressed air and then regulates downstream pressure. This 200-size unit is fitted with a 1/4 in NPT port, a manual drain bowl in polycarbonate, a standard 40 um filter element, an embedded square gauge reading in psi, and a built-in reverse (check) valve so downstream pressure is held if the supply drops. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), the standard regulator adjusts from 0.05 to 0.9 MPa (7 to 130 psi), and the operating temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing). No mounting bracket is included with this configuration.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR200 series is the smallest of the four GFR sizes (200, 300, 400 and 600), each covering a different port and flow step, with options such as automatic or differential-pressure draining, a 5 um filter element, alternative gauge scales and G or NPT threads. Flow for this series is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures against your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeds the clamp cylinders on a assembly-line fixture with clean, moisture-reduced air held at the set pressure the fixture designer specified, with the check valve holding the clamp circuit if the shop supply dips.
Sits ahead of the tool-change and workholding circuits on a CNC machining centre, straining scale and condensed water out of the shop air and giving the operator a local psi gauge and setpoint for the machine's regulated supply.
Conditions the supply to the diverters, pushers and label heads on a packaging conveyor line, keeping water and debris out of the valves while holding steady regulated pressure for repeatable actuator strokes.
Choose the GFR200-08 when your line needs filtered, regulated air at a 1/4 in NPT connection and the 200 size step matches the flow your circuit requires; larger GFR sizes (300, 400, 600) serve bigger ports and higher demand. This unit has a manual drain, so someone must periodically open the bowl to discharge collected water - if that is not practical, the automatic or differential-pressure drain variants are the decodable alternatives. The standard element is 40 um; specify the W option for 5 um finer filtration. The fitted square gauge reads in psi, with MPa or bar scales available as alternatives. PT is the standard thread for this series, with G (BSPP) and NPT as orderable options - this unit is the NPT version. A bracket can be added where this no-bracket configuration needs panel fixing, and the K option adds the reverse valve this unit already carries. Because flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Tell us your application and we will confirm the flow and datasheet figures for the GFR200-08 on request so you can size it correctly.
The M in the code GFR20008MJF2TK selects the manual drain: collected water must be drained from the bowl by hand at intervals. The GFR family also offers an automatic drain (code A) and a differential-pressure drain (blank, the default) if you want draining without operator attention.
