The AirTAC GFR300-08 AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/4 Auto Drain is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/4" ports, a automatic drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR300-08 is a size-300 filter regulator that cleans compressed air and holds downstream pressure in one body. Water and particulate are stripped out by the 40 um standard element, the automatic drain expels collected condensate from the polycarbonate bowl without manual attention, and the standard regulator holds outlet pressure anywhere in its 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi) range. This configuration is fitted with a round psi gauge, a reverse/check valve, and 1/4 in NPT ports.
This is a genuine AirTAC part from the GFR300 series. The GFR line spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 in to 1 in, and options include 5 um filtration (code W), manual or differential-pressure drain, square embedded or round external gauges in MPa, psi or bar scales, and G, NPT or PT threads. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Installed ahead of a directional-valve manifold on a packaging machine, it removes condensate and pipe scale with the 40 um element and holds a steady pilot pressure to the valves, while the check valve holds the circuit if supply dips.
Mounted at the drop feeding a CNC machining centre's air-assist and clamping circuits, it keeps water out of the clamps and regulators downstream and lets the setter read and dial in line pressure directly on the psi gauge.
Fitted at an assembly-bench air drop in a factory, it conditions the supply for hand tools and actuators, and the automatic drain keeps the bowl clear on stations that run unattended across shifts.
Step up or down through the GFR sizes (200, 300, 400, 600) to match the port and flow your line needs - this size 300 unit carries 1/4 in NPT ports. Drain choice matters in practice: automatic drain suits unattended duty, manual drain suits supervised points, and the differential-pressure default suits standard drops. Filtration is 40 um standard; specify the W code for 5 um where finer protection is required. Gauges are offered as the embedded square type or the external round type in MPa, psi or bar scales - this unit carries the round psi gauge. Threads come as PT (standard), G (BSPP) or NPT, and the J code here means no mounting bracket is supplied. Because flow is published as curves and not a single rated figure, send us your application details and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Tell us your application and we will confirm the flow figures from the datasheet so you can size the unit correctly before ordering.
The A code means the bowl drains collected condensate automatically, so the unit suits duty where nobody opens the drain by hand. Manual (M) and differential-pressure (blank) drain versions are available in the same size if you prefer a different arrangement - note the regulation range differs by drain type: 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi) for automatic and differential-pressure drains, 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi) for manual.
