The AirTAC GFR300-15 AirTAC Filter Regulator PT1/2 5um Auto Drain is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR300-15 is a filter regulator: one body removes water and particulate from compressed air and then regulates the downstream pressure. This configuration is a 1/2 in PT port unit with a 5 um filter element (the finer of the two published grades), an automatic drain that clears collected condensate without operator attention, an external round pressure gauge reading in psi, and a reverse/check valve that helps hold downstream pressure if the supply is removed. No mounting bracket is fitted.
This is a genuine AirTAC part in the GFR300 size, one of four sizes (200, 300, 400, 600) that step up in port and flow capacity. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), the regulator setting range with automatic drain is 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), and the operating temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing. The bowl on this size is polycarbonate. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm figures from the datasheet for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Clean, regulated air to pneumatic clamps and swing cylinders on a machining centre, with the 5 um element helping protect fine valve spools and the check valve holding the circuit if the main supply drops.
Feeding stoppers, pushers and diverters on a bottling or carton line, where the automatic drain keeps condensate out of the cylinders through continuous shifts without an operator visiting the unit.
Point-of-use regulation at spray guns in a finishing booth, where 5 um filtration helps keep water and particulate out of the finish and the psi gauge lets operators set gun pressure directly.
Size and port: GFR300 steps up from GFR200 in both port size and flow capacity; here the port is PT1/2, with G (BSPP) and NPT available as order options. Drain: automatic drains collected condensate by itself, while manual and differential-pressure drains exist elsewhere in the family. Filtration: the 5 um element fitted here, or the 40 um standard grade. Gauge: an external round gauge reading psi; embedded square gauges and MPa or bar scales are the alternatives. A reverse/check valve is fitted and no mounting bracket is included.
Flow for the GFR series is published as curves, not a single rated figure, so send us your flow and pressure requirements and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Tell us your required flow and working pressure and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet on request.
The automatic drain (code A) ejects collected condensate without operator attention, which suits unattended or continuous-duty installations. The family also offers manual and differential-pressure drains; note the regulator setting range differs by drain type: 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi) with automatic drain, 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi) with manual.
