The AirTAC GFR300C08MF2K AirTAC Filter Regulator PT1/4, 40 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR300C08MF2K is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in one body. This configuration is a size 300 unit with a PT1/4 (1/4 in) PT thread, a 40 um standard filter element and a manual drain, so the bowl is emptied by hand as part of routine maintenance. It regulates from 0.05 to 0.9 MPa (7-130 psi), carries an embedded square gauge scaled in psi, and a reverse (check) valve is fitted. The polycarbonate bowl comes with a mounting bracket, and the unit handles up to 1.0 MPa (145 psi) inlet at -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 in, offered with manual, automatic or differential-pressure drains, a 5 um (W) element option, gauge scale choices, G or NPT threads, and bracket or no-bracket variants. Flow for this series is published as curves rather than a single figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet and sizing for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Filtering and regulating the air feeding filler and capper cylinders on a bottling line, keeping water and debris out of the valves while holding a set pressure.
Supplying clean, regulated air to the diverter gates and stop cylinders along a parcel-sorting conveyor, with the check valve holding the set pressure against upstream dips.
Regulating supply pressure to pneumatic clamps on a machining-cell fixture so holding force stays consistent through the cycle, with the 40 um element protecting the clamp valves.
Choose the size by the port and flow step: size 300 with a 1/4 in PT port suits compact circuits, while stepping up to 400 or 600 gives larger ports and more flow. Drain type is a real choice: this unit is manual drain, and automatic (A) and differential-pressure (default) versions exist in the same series - note the regulation range is 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi) with manual drain and 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi) with automatic or differential-pressure drains. Filter grade is 40 um standard or 5 um with code W; the gauge can be the embedded square type or an optional external round gauge, scaled in MPa, psi or bar; thread is PT as standard with G (BSPP) and NPT as order options; a bracket is included here and J variants omit it. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for this series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so there is no one number we can quote. Send us your application details and we will confirm the flow and the full datasheet figures on request before you order.
The M in the code means the bowl is drained by hand, so an operator opens the drain periodically instead of relying on an automatic mechanism. Automatic (A) and differential-pressure versions are available in the same series; with manual drain the regulation range is 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi), while automatic and differential-pressure versions are set from 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi).
