The AirTAC GFR300C08MJC3WT AirTAC Filter Regulator 1/4 NPT 5um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR300C08MJC3WT is an AirTAC GFR300 filter regulator: a single body that removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure. This configuration is built with a 1/4 in NPT port, 5 um filtration (the finer of the two grades), a manual drain on the polycarbonate bowl, and an external round gauge with a bar scale. The standard regulator covers 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi), and no mounting bracket is supplied.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is offered in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 in to 1 in, and with choices of drain type, filter grade, gauge style and scale, thread (PT standard, G and NPT to order) and bracket. Flow figures are published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Mounted at the drop of a CNC machining center's compressed-air supply, it strips water and fine particulate down to 5 um and holds a steady set pressure to the machine's solenoid valves and clamping circuits.
On a carton-forming and sealing line, it conditions the air feeding the cylinders that erect, check and seal cartons, with the manual drain opened during scheduled shift checks.
Ahead of a spray gun in an automotive refinish booth, it removes water that would blemish the finish and sets the gun supply pressure, with the bar-scale gauge giving the painter a direct reading.
Size and port set the air capacity: this unit is size 300 with a 1/4 in NPT port; step up to size 400 or 600 if your line draws more air, but match the port to your piping. Drain choice matters: manual (as here) means someone opens the drain periodically, while automatic and differential-pressure drains discharge condensate without attention. Filter grade is 5 um on this unit versus the 40 um standard - choose 5 um where downstream valves and instruments are finer. Gauge options are the embedded square gauge or an external round gauge, in MPa, psi or bar scales; this unit carries a round, bar-scale gauge. Thread is NPT here; PT is the standard and G (BSPP) is also available to order. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so send us your flow requirement and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we will not quote a number here. Send us your operating pressure and air demand and we will confirm the flow from the datasheet for this exact model before you order.
The M in this code specifies a manual drain: condensate collects in the polycarbonate bowl until someone opens the drain valve, typically at a scheduled check. Choose manual where the unit is attended regularly; choose the automatic or differential-pressure drain option where it runs unattended.
