The AirTAC GFR300C08MLC2GK AirTAC Filter Regulator G1/4, Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR300C08MLC2GK is an AirTAC GFR300 filter regulator: one body that removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates the downstream pressure. This configuration has a G1/4 (1/4 in) port, a metal bowl with a manual drain, a 40 um filter element, the low-pressure regulator type, an external round pressure gauge reading in psi, a built-in check (reverse-flow) valve and a mounting bracket. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 in up to 1 in, and with choices of drain type, filter grade (40 um standard, 5 um optional), gauge style and scale, thread (PT standard; G and NPT to order), bracket and check valve. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding pneumatic clamps and swing clamps on a machining fixture that calls for a gentler regulated pressure than a standard regulator delivers. The low-pressure type holds the setting while the 40 um element keeps water and swarf out of the clamp cylinders, and the check valve holds downstream pressure if the main supply dips.
A filter regulator at the drop feeding a cartoning or wrapping machine: clean, regulated air to the cylinders and actuators that seal and fold each carton. The manual drain lets an operator clear collected water at the end of a shift as part of the line checkover.
Conditioning shop air at the drop to a spray booth or finishing station. The 40 um element stops particulate and water reaching the gun and the finish, the round psi gauge gives a direct readout at the setpoint, and the low-pressure type suits coatings that call for a lighter regulated supply.
Choose the size by the port and flow step: sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 step up from 1/8 in to 1 in ports, so move up a size when the line needs more air. This unit is the low-pressure regulator type; if your circuit runs at ordinary plant pressures the standard type may suit better, and we confirm the setpoint range from the datasheet on request. Drain options are differential-pressure (default), automatic (A) and manual (M, as fitted here); the filter grade is 40 um standard with 5 um (W) for finer filtration. Gauge choices are the embedded square gauge or an external round gauge in MPa, psi or bar scales - this unit carries the round psi gauge. Thread is PT as standard with G and NPT as order options; a bracket is included and the check valve (K) is fitted. Because flow is published as curves and not as a single rating, send us your application details and we will confirm sizing before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes GFR-series flow as curves rather than as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Send us your application - port size, downstream demand and working pressure - and we will confirm the flow and the full datasheet figures on request before you order.
This unit has a manual drain: water collected in the bowl is released by operating the drain by hand, which suits points that are visited as part of a routine. The GFR family also offers a differential-pressure drain (the default) and an automatic drain (code A) if you would rather not rely on manual visits.
