The AirTAC GFR300C08MLJC2WK AirTAC Filter Regulator PT1/4, 5 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR300C08MLJC2WK is an AirTAC GFR300 filter regulator: a 1/4 in (PT1/4, PT thread) unit that removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration carries the 5 um filter element (code W, finer than the 40 um standard), a manual drain on the metal bowl, the low-pressure regulator type, a fitted round external gauge reading in psi, and a reverse/check valve. It is supplied without a mounting bracket; brackets are available as an option. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 in, and options for drain type, filter grade, gauge style and scale, thread (PT standard; G and NPT to order), bracket and reverse valve. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm sizing and any datasheet figure against your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Hold-down and clamp circuits on woodworking or light-metal CNC tables often run well below normal line pressure. The low-pressure regulator sets a gentle, stable clamp force while the 5 um element protects small clamping orifices from water and fines.
On a packaging or cartoning line, this unit conditions the air feeding short-stroke cylinders: water and particles are caught at the manually drained bowl and cylinder speed is set at a reduced, stable pressure, with the fitted reverse valve blocking backflow toward the supply side.
Spray guns and air-assisted applicators run at reduced, closely held pressures. This low-pressure filter regulator conditions each booth drop: 5 um filtration supports finish quality and the round psi gauge lets operators set gun pressure directly.
Choose the size by port and flow: this size 300 unit carries a 1/4 in PT port; step up to 400 or 600, or down to 200, as your air demand changes - we will check the published flow curves against your consumption on request. The 5 um element (code W) suits points of use that see fine particles; the 40 um standard element is the usual choice for general line protection. Drain here is manual, so the bowl is emptied by hand on a schedule; automatic and differential-pressure drains are available elsewhere in the family. The fitted round gauge reads in psi (an embedded square gauge, and MPa or bar scales, are the other options). Thread is PT as standard, with G (BSPP) and NPT as order options, and this unit comes without a bracket. The regulator is the low-pressure type; its exact setting range is not published in our sheet, so confirm it with us before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes G-series flow as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Tell us your line pressure and air consumption and we will confirm the flow and sizing from the datasheet on request.
The M code means the bowl is drained by hand: open the drain at the bottom of the metal bowl whenever collected water builds up. If you prefer unattended draining, the GFR family also offers automatic and differential-pressure drain options.
